NEMS HARDWARE MONITORING - BUREAU SERVICE
Alongside the world renowned NEMS/400 'Client' and 'Problem Management Centre' products, NYCO are able to offer its users of NEMS/400 a further and very popular service. We are pleased to be able to supply our customers with a Bureau Service.
So what is the Bureau Service?
When NEMS/400 was originally developed, the product was designed for the customer to run it using their own 'PMC - Problem Management Centre' housed at their own service centre. We realised however that not everyone would want the expense of buying the 'PMC' and also not have the available resources to run it themselves. So we thought why not offer the ability to gain the maximum benefit from NEMS/400, but without the initial outlay. We have 2 machines here at NYCO, dedicated to the NEMS/400 Bureau Service, the main production box and it’s sister machine (at a different location) being our 'hot swap' machine. The 'Client' software is loaded on the iSeries or AS/400 that is to be monitored in the normal way. The software then reports back to our centre just outside London and our 'PMC' sends out the relevant information back to the customer.
Why is this better for me than owning my own PMC?
Owning your own PMC is the best way forward. You have total control over the running of the system and can fine tune it to your specific requirements. With your own PMC you have the comfort of knowing that information about your customers using NEMS/400 stays within your organisation and is not divulged to anyone else. However, running your own “total solution” requires additional resources. In today’s market everyone is looking for that 'extra edge' over the competition but at a minimal outlay. Our Bureau Service is the answer. What better than to have the people who developed the product run it for you! All you need to do is install the software on the machine you require to be monitored and let NYCO’s 24x7 service centre do the rest. It is cost effective, easy to do, requires no additional overheads on your business and gives you and your customers peace of mind. Something else to think about, NYCO is not a competitor of yours. We do not provide field hardware maintenance services.
Is my information safe with NYCO?
All the details about your customers as supplied to NYCO are treated in the strictest confidence and not divulged to anyone. Only key personnel within NYCO have access to the information.
What happens if NYCO’s system goes down?
All information running on our production machine is also stored on the 'hot swap' machine. Should we have a major failure of the production machine our 'hot swap' box is up and running within minutes. Continuity of service is our main concern.
So what will it cost me to use your Bureau Service?
Each 'Client' licence is rented for a 12 month period. We charge a small additional one off service fee to set everything up and a token support fee.
